Q: Tell us about what you do here at Odaseva

A: My role is responsible for the overall business success of Data Edge, coordinating engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and customer success around shared goals. Data Edge represents a major strategic shift for Odaseva from traditional Salesforce data protection toward a broader AI-ready enterprise data platform, positioning Odaseva at the center of enterprise data orchestration and AI operations. It enables unified, high-performance access across multi-Org Salesforce environments and external ecosystems like Snowflake, Databricks and others.

Q: What’s the team that you work with like?

A: The team is highly international, bringing together talent from American, Australian, English, German, French, and many other backgrounds. It is a particularly strong group with deep expertise in data and enterprise-scale platforms, built through years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem (but not only).

What stands out is both the technical talent, and the collaborative mindset across cultures and disciplines. The team is also very open and energized by the transition toward broader data and AI capabilities, and there is a shared belief that this new product will massively expand the scale of the company.

Q: Why did you join Odaseva? 

A: I first joined Odaseva nearly 10 years ago, at a very early stage of the company, with the mission of helping grow the business and scale its impact. After an incredible seven-year journey, I left to co-found Zygon, a cybersecurity and identity startup that we successfully built and sold following three intense and rewarding years. When Sovan introduced me to the new Data Edge product vision, it immediately resonated with me. It felt like the right moment to come back and contribute as much as possible to the launch and success of this exciting new business line. 

Q: What do you like about working at Odaseva?

A: Odaseva is a remarkable company, operating globally and serving some of the world’s most complex customers when it comes to performance and security. What stands out is not only the level of ambition, but also the humility to recognize that entering a new market first requires listening, learning, and adapting before anything else.

Q: What’s your proudest work-related accomplishment or project?

A: My proudest professional achievement is not one specific accomplishment. Over the past 20 years, I have had the opportunity to create or help build several businesses, and that is what I enjoy the most: starting from almost nothing and building something meaningful with a team, a product, and customers. Turning an early idea into a real business is what continues to motivate me the most.

Q: What else can you tell us about yourself? 

A: Outside of work, I recently wrote a cybersecurity novel, with the English version set to be released soon. I also enjoy open-water swimming and take part in a few sea races every year. This June, I will participate in the legendary race that recreates the escape of the Comte de Monte Cristo from the Château d’If, off the coast of Marseille, back to shore. I am also passionate about philosophy, which I teach a couple of times a month through workshops in a non-profit organization.
