Today we’re featuring Viji Radhakrishnan, Systems Engineer who helps with the internal business processes in Odaseva.

Q: Tell us about what you do here at Odaseva

A: I’m a Systems Engineer at Odaseva, working on optimizing and automating our internal business processes. My role involves collaborating across departments—particularly Sales and Customer Success—to understand their needs and deliver scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and data integrity.

Q: What’s the team that you work with like?

A: I’m part of the Business Operations team, a tight-knit group mostly based in France, with a few of us in the U.S. Despite the geographical distance, we’re highly collaborative. We frequently work with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and improve workflows, which keeps things dynamic and engaging. There’s a strong sense of teamwork and support, which makes the work environment very positive.

Q: Why did you join Odaseva?

A:  I joined Odaseva back in 2020 as a Tier 2 Support Specialist. What initially drew me in were the growth opportunities and the company’s warm, inclusive culture. I saw a place where I could evolve professionally while being surrounded by people who genuinely care about each other—and that’s exactly what I found.

Q: What do you like about working at Odaseva?

A:  One of the things I appreciate most about Odaseva is how supportive the people are. When I decided to switch career paths—from Support to Systems Engineering—my team and leadership were incredibly encouraging. They believed in my potential and gave me the space to grow into a new role. The opportunity for career development here is real, and the culture is both collaborative and uplifting.

Q: How did you come to join the Salesforce ecosystem?

A:  My journey into Salesforce is a bit unconventional. I was a stay-at-home mom for six years, coming from a non-technical background. When I was ready to re-enter the workforce, I discovered Salesforce and started learning through Trailhead. That experience opened up a whole new world for me—and I haven’t looked back since.

Q: What’s your proudest work-related accomplishment or project?

A:  One of my proudest milestones has been successfully transitioning into the Business Operations team. Going through the interview process and stepping into a more technical role was a big leap, and it reaffirmed that I’m on the path I truly want to pursue.

Q: What else can you tell us about yourself?

A: I’m a fun-loving, light-hearted person who enjoys traveling with my husband and our two children. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures is something that inspires me both personally and professionally.
