Izak Mutlu served as the Vice President of Information and Product Security at Salesforce for eleven years. He was responsible for managing IT security, compliance, architecture, design, implementation, and operations. He was also the primary focal point for any customer facing security initiatives. He created the Customer Security Advisory Council, regularly meeting with hundreds of customers around the world every year to share the security and compliance roadmap and hear customers’ requirements in these areas.
Izak Mutlu co-created the Bay Area CSO Council, a group of 30+ CISOs from the largest companies in the San Francisco Bay Area aiming at sharing best practices and security related intelligence information among peers. He has been the President of this group for more than a dozen years. Izak Mutlu also served a the CISO for several Bay Area tech companies such as Silicon Graphics, Solectron before joining Salesforce.
